Retirement Planning

Cabela’s provides a retirement plan that helps you prepare for a secure retirement. A host of retirement funds are available enabling you to tailor a custom portfolio that perfectly meets your investment goals. This plan, offered through London Life and administered through Great West Life of Canada, provides online and in person resources so that our employees can establish and monitor an intelligent retirement savings plan.

Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)

A group RRSP is available to eligible employees. Voluntary contributions may be made through payroll or regular deposit.

Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP)

This group plan is available to eligible employees. Cabela’s Canada contributes up to 4% of gross earnings matching the employee contribution to the group RRSP. These company matched contributions are vested to 50% following one year of membership in the plan and vested 100% after two years of membership in the plan.
